Constant Volume Degasser

The Constant Volume Degasser is a system which allows the extraction of a gas sample from a constant volume of drilling fluid regardless of the drilling fluid flow rate and of the variations in the mud level.
Mud is pumped through the suction probe, located in the possum belly and conveyed to the standard volume bowl. The peristaltic pump is activated by an Eex-d triphase motor which by means of a gear reducer transmits a rotation of the shaft of the peristaltic pump.
